I would like to have a room which is
completely white, and with sunshine blasting through enormous windows. White
sofa, curtains, furniture. Maybe not the floor of course.
This is just a phase I am going through, albeit
a phase which is becoming a temporary obsession. I would love to know what it
all means. It could be because I have had a part time job for a couple of
months which involves working in an uncomfortable shit hole, but I am hoping
that there is a deeper meaning than that. It could be an awakening to
the reams of mental clutter which are currently slowing creativity; not
slowing, tripping me up in every direction. I hope the meaning goes deeper
than that also.

Here is why you want a white room...
Strictly speaking, white is not a color, but the manifestation of the presence of all color - the complete energy of light. It stands for wholeness and completion. In many cultures it represents openness and truth. White has a cold quality. It can provide clarity as its energy is complete.
White has purification vibrations and can be used to clear blocks from your path.
It holds the potential to move toward every other color and this makes it a good choice for new beginnings, and development in any direction.
OK...I am into a lot of this spiritual "hoo haa" if you will. But colors affect us dramatically...
Something to ponder over more red wine...
Oh sorry...it's me again...
Along with the white clearing out the garbage in your life...it's brings about a fresh start. And...the power of the sun coming through the windows brings energy and happiness.
*sigh* I could use a white room with the sun coming through the windows right about now!
Forgive the god awful long rants!
For me,
white room = mental aslyum
:P
just let us know if you feel a longing for long sleeved white jumpers ;)
On a more serious note, white rooms freak me out because you can't see where the wall and ceiling meet (and then your bedsheets are white too) - fecking freaky with a hangover i can tell ya!
hmmm i like Caroline's answer though!
yui have to agree with Caroline: it's a yearning for purity.
I've also said I'd like to have a completely white room, but if that's a yearning for purity, I think I've changed my mind.
Sorry, that last one was me.
Caroline nailed it. Purity, fresh start, cleanliness, clean slate...I could keep going and going.
White brings a sense of innocence and purity to every room.
I say go for it, if you're feeling the need for a fresh start!
hmm white is like a blank slate, or a new beginning. So, if you feel you need to begin again, and start anew.. then go for it.
S.
Let's hope it's not in relation to white representing emptiness and fickleness.
You're not empty.
Your precious mind is filled with so many amazing things.
But I guess you're just trying to escape.
Who doesn't want to escape to somewhere peaceful.
On a similar note,
Where the fuck have you been?
I miss you!
Wow ... I have my own resident psychologists ... excellent!
Well, I hadnt made the connection, but loads of things are changing, for the better, and unintentionally ... so, yep. Thats clearly that one explained!
