“You see, you can see the sea,” someone said.

“There is possibly nothing on this earth more perfect that the sound of Chan Marshall’s voice.”

When I came to that conclusion I was lying on a beach, having spent an hour and a half listening to Cat Power on my ipod. Then I lay back and listened to the sea, and, well, I wasn’t totally sure that my initial conclusion was correct after all. Now though, looking back at it, typed up, it looks pretty accurate …so I will leave it at that.

I have E here with me right now, not in the room – in the apartment. It’s getting better all the time. Things are going well.
